COMBINATION 6 [R]
Step in right Zenkutsu Dachi. Right hand to shoulder, left hand in front (Gyaku-Yoko-Uchi). Strike to the side of the head (Yoko-Uchi). Propeller blade and cross arms to strike the inside of opponent's knee (Harai-Uke), propeller back and right hand strike to the knee (Gedan-Soto-Uchi - from front stance), fend off (Yoko-Uke), back to Yoi.
Age Uke - used to block overhead blows
- Hold the Bo with Gyaku Nigiri. Assume right Zenkutsu Dachi.
- Push the left hand out and upward, right hand to hip.
Naname Age Uchi [K] (Diagonal Side Strike to Face)
- Grasp the Bo with Gyaku-Nigiri. Assume right Zenkutsu Dachi.
- Push the right hand out and upward, left hand to hip.
NOTE:
- Yoko-Uchi and Gyaku Yoko-Uchi are executed with Jun Nigiri.
- Age-Uke and Naname Age-Uchi are executed with Gyaku Nigiri grip.
- Age-Uke is executed with the trailing hand uppermost.
- Naname Age-Uchi is executed with the lead hand uppermost.
