COMBINATION 6 [R]
Step in right Zenkutsu Dachi. Right hand to shoulder, left hand in front (Gyaku-Yoko-Uchi). Strike to the side of the head (Yoko-Uchi). Propeller blade and cross arms to strike the inside of opponent's knee (Harai-Uke), propeller back and right hand strike to the knee (Gedan-Soto-Uchi - from front stance), fend off (Yoko-Uke), back to Yoi.

Age Uke - used to block overhead blows
  1. Hold the Bo with Gyaku Nigiri. Assume right Zenkutsu Dachi.
  2. Push the left hand out and upward, right hand to hip.
 

Naname Age Uchi [K] (Diagonal Side Strike to Face)
  1. Grasp the Bo with Gyaku-Nigiri.  Assume right Zenkutsu Dachi. 
  2. Push the right hand out and upward, left hand to hip.

NOTE:

  • Yoko-Uchi and Gyaku Yoko-Uchi are executed with Jun Nigiri.
  • Age-Uke and Naname Age-Uchi are executed with Gyaku Nigiri grip.
  • Age-Uke is executed with the trailing hand uppermost.
  • Naname Age-Uchi is executed with the lead hand uppermost.
